Our 16th Century house is situated central in the medieval part of Bruges, in the Carmersstraat. Here is where in earlier days the Carmelite Monastery existed; between the Langerei (a canal side, along which richly loaded boats were coming in from the sea) and the ramparts with the windmills. Two guest rooms are built under the original oak beams of the roof. It is an ideal location, as the town center is easily reachable coming into town from Kruispoort or Dampoort. It lies in a short walking-distance from the Market square as from all other places of interest.

Here you will stay in the St.Anna’s-Quarter. It is the quiet, authentic part of the medieval town. This quarter is unique because of its well preserved atmosphere. Visitors will be surprised in discovering this part of Bruges: the Museum of Our Lady of the Potterie in what was a medieval hospital, the Museum of Folklore, the Lace Centre, the Jerusalem church from 1570, the Guido Gezelle Museum, the 16th century St Sebastian's Archer’s Guild, the English Convent, Café "Vlissinghe"- dating back to 1515, and much more charming places such as the centuries old Windmills at the end of our street.
